Canon X.

And they who keep the commandment ought to keep it without any sordid covetousness, demanding neither recompense,¹⁴¹¹⁴¹    μηνυτρα, the price of information. nor reward,¹⁴²¹⁴²    σῶστρα, the reward for bringing back a runaway slave. nor fee,¹⁴³¹⁴³    εὕρετρα, the reward of discovery. nor anything else that bears the name of acknowledgment.
