Biography

Joseph Armitage Robinson was born in England in 1858. At the age of 23, he became a deacon and a year later entered the priesthood. At various times he was a curate, a dean, and a rector. His writings and speeches earned him honorary degrees from Göttingen and Halle. He was the expert when it came to the writings of the early church fathers and even translated some of their works into English. Robison died at the age of 75 in 1933.
