The Epistles of St. Peter is part of the original fifty volumes known as The Expositor’s Bible edited by Sir W. Robertson Nicoll. This commentary on the Epistles of Peter was written by J. Rawson Lumby. This edition was published in 1893. The preface explains the context of Peter’s epistles as well as reasons to believe the apostle Peter is the author of each epistle. Lumby expounds upon each verse of these two letters, often times referencing the original Greek. The explanations of the content of these two letters are divided between the 30 chapters of this commentary.
