The Greeks, Theophanes, Cedrenus, and the author of the
Alexandrian Chronicle, confine themselves to vague and
general expressions. For a more particular account of the
vision we are obliged to have recourse to such Latin writers
as William of Malmesbury. See Ducange, C. P.1. i. p. 24, 25.
