Expositor's Bible: The Gospel According to St. Luke

The Gospel According to St. Luke is part of the original fifty volumes known as The Expositor’s Bible edited by Sir W. Robertson Nicoll. This commentary on Luke was written by the Rev. Henry Burton. This exegesis of Luke is divided into 27 chapters. There are chapters on miracles and parables. He also has chapters on the “ethics” and the “eschatology” of the Gospel. The final two chapters deal with the passion of Christ and the first “Lord’s Day.” An index at the end of the book helps locate references to people, places, or topics found in this work.
