This will contain links to source material related to
hymnody that doesn't (yet) fit into the CCEL scheme (of full published
e-texts) or the CCEH scheme (eclectic collection of hymn tunes.) It may
include some original articles or contributed articles from published
work.
Some of the material may eventually be moved elsewhere in CCEL;
be cautious about linking to content labelled [staged] or [temporary].
Two articles on singing Anglican chants demonstrate different styles of performance. A number of books and articles on important Hymnwriters or Hymnals are available. Some may eventually be incorporated into the CCEL (and will then be removed from here); others may not be suitable for the CCEL itself. |
