Biography

Tony Marshall Anderson was born on April 30, 1888, in Westport, Kentucky. His evangelist career spanned at least two denominations; the Methodist Episcopal Church and the Church of the Nazarene. His main focus in ministry was “Prayer”. Not just praying but tapping into the power and potential of prayer. Anderson was a professor at Ashbury Theological Seminary. During his career, Anderson wrote several books and pamphlets on a variety of subjects but the majority were on some aspect of prayer. Just shy of his 91st birthday, Anderson died on April 14, 1979.
